This is a very poor concept in having all that mess jump into view immediately over the work area and not have an option to grab and drag it somewhere out of the way. With the sliders in view, clicking the black circle makes the sliders disappear and the black circle becomes much lighter.Ĭlicking the black circle again returns it to it's previous shade of black and makes the sliders reappear. PhotoLab fulfills every expectation, from easy-to-use local adjustments, fixing lens distortions, removing chromatic aberration, to fixing advanced digital. Pressing the "E" key makes the sliders go away, yet leaves the big black circle with the paintbrush icon, centered right where it is most in the way. The addition of color functionality now allows me to easily adjust colors and even completely change them locally The addition of local selective tones means I can now adjust highlights, midtones, shadows and the black point exactly where its needed. I am extremely pleased with the enhancements to local adjustments. You would not want to move the control points out of the way because they define the area of the image being edited. If you want the control point masks to disappear while editing local adjustments simply move your mouse pointer off the preview area of your monitor.
